Submit A Motion

You can submit a motion to be discussed at the next JCR Open Meeting online. Simply fill in the form below.

  • Motions should be no longer than 100 words in length.
  • The motion should be proposed and seconded by members of Downing College JCR.
  • Check the notices for details on deadlines as to when your proposal needs to be submitted (Usually about four days beforehand).
  • Motions are often phrased under three headings, 'The JCR Notes That', 'The JCR Believes That' and 'The JCR Resolves That', although you are free to use alternative wording.
