Summary of Main Points of Meeting:
- Welcome
- The minutes of the last meeting were approved
- Matters arising:
- Stationery being ordered shortly (Matt/Josh)
- PAT testing
- Ian spoke to Bursar and Maintenance.
- College were charged between £2 and £2.50 per item, average 12 items per room. Kitchen appliances charged for extra. Hence College were subsidising about £10/room.
- Testing is a legal requirement.
- Next year, may be done in house (staff member is going on a course). Cost should not increase, may decrease. Want to be told of cost in advance.
- JCRC Working Practice
- Matt circulated the 'Orange Sheet', with guidelines for JCR internal
communication
- This met with general approval
- May week Events

Superhall
- Date now fixed for Tuesday 17th June, 7.30pm
- Agreed to make cost £9pp. This gives £1.50pp for the 'theme'
- Agreed to move forward on Josh's Harry Potter idea
- Details will be finalised after exams
- Discussed: number of tables (4 houses?), owls, prizes, Quidditch, banners, fancy dress, roles for fellows
- Can be publicised soon
- Use SMS to promote May Week events

- Date now fixed for Monday 16th June, 9pm
- Ian circulated copy of invitation for gentle mocking and subsequent approval
- Jenny and Ian to sign the invitations?

Anti-Climax: no event on Friday; Whitby have booked Paddock marquee.
- JCR Garden Party
- Farzana can get cheap Shark from the CU Hockey Club
- Tony is finalising budget, will make purchasing decisions based on that.
- Bar opening hours in May Week
- Monday-Thursday, 2pm-6pm
- Bar have various plans for May Week

- Josh attended Wayfinding Committee. Report available in Office.
- Some tasks for Malcolm: photocopying, ironing and washing machine breakages.
