Rent Bands Information

The JCR Committee rebanded all rooms and negotiated the new rents with College in 2005. The new system should provide a clear, transparent and fair way of pricing the rooms in College.

The basis of the rent bands is the quality 'rating' of the staircase (1* to 5*) and the size of the room (S, M or L).

The other minor factors of whether the room faces a road or faces College, and whether the room has a handbasin, are also taken into account.
